Recover lost or deleted Stardew Valley progress

Help me recover my lost Stardew Valley save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

1. Read https://findmysave.com/stardew-valley/lost-save/steps.json. If you can't open URLs, use what's below.
2. Rules:
   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).
   - No anti-cheat files, no third-party tools unless I say yes.
   - Make sure the game is closed first.
3. Check with me that this is what happened, then do its steps in order and tell me how to check each one:
   - Save disappeared or does not appear in the Load Game menu (files still in folder)
4. Save folder: %APPDATA%\StardewValley\Saves\  Files: <FarmName>_<ID> folder (e.g. JonSnow_123456789), <FarmName>_<ID> (no extension, XML), SaveGameInfo, <FarmName>_<ID>_old and SaveGameInfo_old, *_STARDEWVALLEYSAVETMP, save-backups folder (inside the game folder; created by SMAPI's bundled SaveBackup)

Save missing from the Load Game menu

Symptom

Your save doesn't show in the Load Game menu, but the files are still in the folder.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Open the save folder (Windows: %appdata%\StardewValley\Saves). Inside your farm folder, look for both SaveGameInfo and FarmName_123456789.

    Check: both files are there.

    Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. If any file name ends in _STARDEWVALLEYSAVETMP, remove that ending. First turn off Steam Cloud sync for the game, or Steam may rename the files again each time.changes files

  3. If you renamed or created the farm folder (for example when restoring a backup), make sure the folder name is exactly the same as the main file name inside it.changes files

  4. On PC, make sure no file has a .bin extension. On Android, you may need to ADD .bin instead.

  5. Don't keep backup folders inside Saves. The game tries to load them. Move them somewhere else.changes files

    Check: your farm now shows in the Load Game menu.

  6. Still missing and you use SMAPI? Restore the newest zip from the save-backups folder in the game folder.changes files
