Move a save between PC and Android or iOS
Symptom
A PC save won't load on Android or iOS, or an Android save won't load on PC.
Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.
Android to PC: copy the whole farm folder from
Android/data/com.chucklefish.stardewvalley/files/Saves(v1.5+) to%appdata%\StardewValley\Saves. Then remove the.binending from every file.changes filesCheck: the farm shows in the PC Load Game menu.
PC to Android: if you use mods, remove custom content first (load the save once in vanilla or with SMAPI to clean it). Create one save on Android first so the
Savesfolder exists, then copy the whole farm folder into it. If you copy with adb, set read and write permissions, or the game crashes when it saves at the end of the day.changes filesiOS: use the Files app (On My iPhone, then Stardew Valley), or File Sharing in iTunes or Finder. Drag each farm folder to the root of the Documents panel, not the whole
Savesfolder. Then sync.Copy both files, the main save and
SaveGameInfo. Some players report the game version on the receiving device must not be older than the one that made the save.
Unverified: The rule that the receiving game version must be at least as new as the save has not been confirmed on the official wiki page.
