Help me sort out a Steam Cloud conflict with my Palworld save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

1. Read https://findmysave.com/palworld/steam-cloud-overwrite/steps.json. If you can't open URLs, use what's below.
2. Rules:
   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).
   - No anti-cheat files, no third-party tools unless I say yes.
   - Make sure the game is closed first.
3. Check with me that this is what happened, then do its steps in order and tell me how to check each one:
   - Steam prompts to choose local or cloud save
4. Save folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\<your Steam ID>\ Files: Level.sav, LevelMeta.sav, Players/<32-hex GUID>.sav, LocalData.sav, backup/local/ and backup/world/, *.sav.bak in Players/ and SaveData/
5. If nothing works, stop and tell me. Remote help: https://findmysave.com/help/

Chat-only AIs work too: they walk you through it. Steps as JSON, each with a source: /palworld/steam-cloud-overwrite/steps.json

Steam asks local or cloud, and your progress rolled back

Symptom

Steam asks you to choose between the local and the cloud save. Choosing cloud, or switching PCs, rolls back your levels and bases.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Before you choose, copy your local SaveGames folder somewhere safe.

Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. If it's already overwritten, restore from backup\local / backup\world.changes files

  3. Turn off Steam Cloud for Palworld before you restore, so it can't overwrite the files again. Right-click the game, open Properties, then untick Steam Cloud under General (or Updates).changes files

  4. Keep your own copies from now on. The in-game backup is limited.
