Help me fix a corrupted Palworld save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

1. Read https://findmysave.com/palworld/corrupted-save/steps.json. If you can't open URLs, use what's below.
2. Rules:
   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).
   - No anti-cheat files, no third-party tools unless I say yes.
   - Make sure the game is closed first.
3. Check with me that this is what happened, then do its steps in order and tell me how to check each one:
   - On a dedicated server: infinite loading screen when joining, or players prompted for Character Creation despit...
4. Save folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\<your Steam ID>\ Files: Level.sav, LevelMeta.sav, Players/<32-hex GUID>.sav, LocalData.sav, backup/local/ and backup/world/, *.sav.bak in Players/ and SaveData/
5. If nothing works, stop and tell me. Remote help: https://findmysave.com/help/

Chat-only AIs work too: they walk you through it. Steps as JSON, each with a source: /palworld/corrupted-save/steps.json

Dedicated server: endless loading or a new-character prompt

Symptom

On a dedicated server, joining gets stuck on an infinite loading screen, or players are asked to create a character even though they have progress.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Stop the server. Don't edit saves while it's running.

Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. If the world is corrupted: copy Level.sav and the metadata file from a timestamped folder in backup/world into the world folder.changes files

  3. If only one player is affected: copy that player's 32-character GUID file from backup/local into Players/, replacing the broken file.changes files

  4. Or copy the matching .sav.bak files over the .sav files in Players/ and SaveData/.changes files

  5. Next time, run /Save (or RCON Save) before you stop the server.
