Symptom
You don't know where the game keeps its save files.
Press Win+R, paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\ItTakesTwo and press Enter.
Look for SaveData.Nuts in the folder that opens.
Check: You can see SaveData.Nuts.
Can't find it?
If Windows says it can't find the folder, the game hasn't saved on this PC yet, or you play another version (Game Pass, Epic, Steam Deck). Check the other paths on this page.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ItTakesTwo\*.NutsC:\Users\<your Windows user name>\AppData\Local\ItTakesTwoSince the May 2024 update, the Steam version uses Steam Cloud and no longer needs the EA App. Local saves upload to Steam Cloud when the game starts.
C:\Users\<your Windows user name>\AppData\Local\ItTakesTwoSame local folder, per EA. Old EA App cloud saves can no longer be reached from the Steam version.
