Help me fix a corrupted Hollow Knight: Silksong save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

1. Read https://findmysave.com/hollow-knight-silksong/corrupted-save/steps.json. If you can't open URLs, use what's below.
2. Rules:
   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).
   - No anti-cheat files, no third-party tools unless I say yes.
   - Make sure the game is closed first.
3. Ask which of these happened, then do its steps in order and tell me how to check each one:
   - Save files exist in LocalLow but the game does not detect them
   - A profile is blank/corrupted after a crash or bad save
4. Save folder: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight Silksong\ Files: user1.dat ... user4.dat, shared.dat, user#.dat.bak1, user#_1.0.12345.dat (version-suffixed), Restore_Points#/ (folders 1-4), restoreData#.dat / NODELrestoreData#.dat
5. If nothing works, stop and tell me. Remote help: https://findmysave.com/help/

Chat-only AIs work too: they walk you through it. Steps as JSON, each with a source: /hollow-knight-silksong/corrupted-save/steps.json

Save files are in the folder but the game doesn't see them

Symptom

The LocalLow folder has your files, for example user1_1.0.28714.dat, but the game doesn't detect them.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Close the game and back up the folder.

Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. Look for a file named user#_<version>.dat. It's a copy from before the patch. Compare its version number with the version shown on the game's main menu.

  3. If they differ, rename the file so its version matches the current one. One player reported this worked. It's unofficial.changes files

Check: The game now sees the save.

  4. If there's no user#.dat and no versioned file at all, the save was deleted and this fix won't help.changes files

Unverified: Renaming the file is one player's report, not an official fix.

A profile is blank or corrupted after a crash or bad save

Symptom

A save profile is blank or broken after the game crashed or saved badly.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Quit the game and back up the whole folder first.

Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. Try the Auto Saves list under that profile.

Check: If an auto save loads, you're done.

  3. If you can't use it, replace user#.dat with user#.dat.bak1 (the copy made before the last save), or with a restoreData*.dat from Restore_Points#. The file roles come from the wiki. The copy step is our inference.changes files

  4. Stop Steam Cloud from uploading a bad file again: restore while offline or with cloud turned off.changes files

Unverified: The wiki doesn't describe the manual copy-back, so that part is our inference.
