Cloud save overwrote your Enshrouded progress

Help me sort out a Steam Cloud conflict with my Enshrouded save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.

Steam Cloud conflict: the wrong save got overwritten

Symptom

Steam showed a cloud/local conflict prompt. The wrong world was overwritten, or your PC save looks older than your last session.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Close the game. Copy both the remote folder and the Saved Games folder before you choose Cloud or Local.

    Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. To upload a local save on purpose: back up remote, clear it, copy the local files you want into it, turn on Steam Cloud, start the game and choose the local option.

  3. If something was overwritten, restore from a dated backup of the whole folder.changes files
