Cloud save overwrote your Black Myth: Wukong progress

Help me sort out a Steam Cloud conflict with my Black Myth: Wukong save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).

Save went back 2 days after playing on a second PC

Symptom

After playing on a second PC (or pressing Cloud sync), your save went back to exactly 2 days ago. The backup folder was reportedly empty for that player.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

Do not launch the game again until you have copied ...\b1\Saved\SaveGames somewhere else.
Not sure where the save folder is?
On the PC where you last played, check ...\b1\Saved\SaveGamesBackup\01RealtimeBackup, 02HourlyBackup and 03DailyBackup.
Copy the files from the newest suitable backup into SaveGames\<your Steam ID>. Example path: ...\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Saved\SaveGames\76561198....changes files
Before you relaunch, turn off Steam Cloud for the game so it doesn't overwrite the restored files. Keep a manual copy on a USB drive or a non-Steam cloud.changes files
Check: Load the game. Your latest progress is there.
