Help me back up or roll back my Black Myth: Wukong save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

Restore from the game's own backup

Symptom

You want to roll back to one of the backups the game made itself.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Quit the game. To stop Steam overwriting your copy, also turn off Steam Cloud for the game: Library > right-click the game > Properties > General > Steam Cloud.changes files

    Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. Copy your whole current ...\b1\Saved\SaveGames folder somewhere safe first.

  3. Open ...\b1\Saved\SaveGamesBackup. It has three subfolders: 01RealtimeBackup (in-game time points, holds about 6, the newest overwrites the oldest), 02HourlyBackup (about 12 hours' worth), 03DailyBackup (one per calendar day).

  4. Pick the backup closest to the progress you want. Steam achievement unlock times can help you date it.

  5. Copy ALL the files from that backup folder into ...\b1\Saved\SaveGames\<your Steam ID>, overwriting the existing .sav files.changes files

  6. Start the game and load the slot. On WeGame the steps are the same, just with the WeGameApps\rail_apps\BlackMythWukong(2002122) path.

    Check: The slot loads with the older progress you picked.
