Help me find my Baldur's Gate 3 save folder on this PC, following findmysave's steps.
1. Read https://findmysave.com/baldurs-gate-3/save-location/steps.json. If you can't open URLs, use what's below.
2. Rules:
- Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
- Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
- Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).
- No anti-cheat files, no third-party tools unless I say yes.
- Make sure the game is closed first.
3. Ask which of these happened, then do its steps in order and tell me how to check each one:
- I can't find my Baldur's Gate 3 save folder
- Cannot find saves / AppData hidden
4. Save folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\Savegames\Story\ Files: <save name>.lsv (inside a per-save folder), LevelCache folder
5. If nothing works, stop and tell me. Remote help: https://findmysave.com/help/
You don't know where the game keeps its save files.
Press Win+R, paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\Savegames\Story, and press Enter.
Look inside the folder.
Check: You can see your save files.
Can't find it?
If Windows says it can't find the folder, the game hasn't saved on this PC yet, or you play another version (Game Pass, Epic, Steam Deck). Check the other paths listed below.
Larian lists one PC path for every store. Each save is a folder. Since patch 7/9 your profile lives in local AppData instead of Documents. If you played patch 6 or earlier, an old copy may still be in Documents\Larian Studios.
