Cloud save overwrote your Crimson Desert progress

Help me sort out a Steam Cloud conflict with my Crimson Desert save on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).

   - Make sure the game is closed first.

Cross-save data deleted after unlinking accounts

Symptom

Your cross-save data was deleted after you unlinked accounts.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Don't unlink your last platform account or delete your Pearl Abyss ID without a local backup. Pearl Abyss says the deletion is permanent.changes files

    Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. Before you unlink, save to a local slot and copy the local save folder somewhere safe.

    Check: The copy is in a new folder and has the same files as the original.

  3. Unlinking one account while at least two stay linked does not delete your data.changes files
