Symptom
The Cross-Save slot won't load on one platform.
Check the game version on both platforms.
Check: One platform has an older version than the other.
Update the platform that is behind. Data from a newer version won't load on an older one.
Relaunch the game from that platform's library and try again. If it still fails, wait until that platform gets the same update.
Check: The Cross-Save slot loads.

The game hangs on a loading screen or a black screen when you load your save. Hotfix 1.16.02 (Aug 3, 2026) fixed this.
Update the game to 1.16.02 or later.
Back up the save folder before you try again.
Relaunch the game and load your save again.
