Move Elden Ring saves to a new PC or account

Help me move my Elden Ring save to this PC or account on this PC, following findmysave's steps.

2. Rules:
   - Start read-only: find my saves and list name, size and modified time.
   - Back up the whole save folder before changing anything.
   - Ask me before you delete, rename, move or overwrite any file (changes_files=true).
   - No anti-cheat files, no third-party tools unless I say yes.
   - Make sure the game is closed first.
3. Check with me that this is what happened, then do its steps in order and tell me how to check each one:
   - Save copied to another Steam account or PC with a different account will not load

Copied save won't load on another Steam account

Symptom

You copied your save to another Steam account, or to a PC with a different account, and it won't load.

Steps marked “changes files” delete, rename or overwrite something. Back up the whole save folder first.

  1. Close the game and Steam. Back up the save.

    Not sure where the save folder is?

  2. Run ER Save File Manager (from Nexus), open SteamID Patcher, load the save and enter the target SteamID64 (Auto-Detect, a profile URL, or typed). Third-party tools are at your own risk.changes files

  3. Click Patch SteamID. The tool makes an automatic backup first.changes files

  4. Copy the patched ER0000.sl2 into %AppData%\EldenRing\<new Steam ID>\ and launch the game.changes files

    Check: the character slots load.
